With the addition of 2.P. to the Mascots and Mini-scots, I've also been thinking of creating an actual special mascot that represents the color navy. Just like Phi and 2.P., this character's color scheme appears more indigo than dark blue, even though Chi is already the indigo mascot. To help myself, I'm going to jot down some ideas that I'm considering for the potential mascot:
The mascot's color scheme in Japanese would be "紺色"
For some reason, I picture this mascot's theme being associated with blueberries and/or bubblegum
If he's going to be related to the mascots, not sure whether his name should end with C or G
Because of his potential theme, perhaps an odango hairstyle or something of the sort?
Until something finally strikes, I'll add more notes that might prove useful on the list. However, this is just a thought, so there's a chance that this idea would probably never happen.

Photos, Shoutouts, and Blisters at SacAnime Spring
Last weekend was SacAnime Spring, which is typically a smaller, shorter and more family-oriented version of the standard convention. I personally like to use SacAnime Spring as a means of experimenting with certain cosplays to see if they would fare well for bigger cons. There weren't really guests I wanted to meet that con nor were there any panels that caught my interest, but there were indeed some highlights that I'd like to share about my trip to SacAnime Spring. As stated before, I use SacAnime Spring to test out some cosplays to see what happens when I wear them, be it popular or obscure cosplays. For Friday, I dressed up as Schroeder from the Peanuts comics and surprisingly got a lot of attention in ways I didn't expect. I thought he wouldn't get much traction because he's from a really old franchise, but the fact that folks young and old recognized who I was and even wanted photos was already enough to prove that something doesn't have to be new and trending in order to be
An Early Birthday Trip at the Peanuts Celebration
Two days ago, my mother and I visited the Peanuts Celebration down in Knott's Berry Farm as an early birthday trip. My interest in the Peanuts comics stemmed from during the days when I came down with COVID after SacAnime Summer last year and the comics and specials (or in that case, video clips since I didn't have an Apple TV account at the time) really lifted my spirits through such hard times. Eventually, I learned about Knott's Berry Farm and their annual Peanuts Celebration; thanks to watching several Youtube channels, I decided to give Knott's Berry Farm just for one day. Surprisingly, the one-day trip went really well. I even dressed up as my favorite character, Schroeder, during the trip and even got lots of attention as well as at least one photo from another attendee! My main priorities were to meet all the characters and watch the shows; my mother simply followed where I went, but I still wanted her to have a wonderful time as well. Here's what went down: :bulletorange:
A Grand Ol' Time at SacAnime
To start off the new year, like I've been doing every new year since 2015 (I think), I attended SacAnime Winter 2024! Ever since its announcement last con, I've been planning the past couple of months to make sure I was more prepared and hopefully not get sick in the end. Here's basically how it went down. The cosplays chosen for this con were based off the gatherings and guests that were present during the whole event. Those who know me well enough should know that's how I typically chose my cosplay lineup for each convention I attend. For Friday, I went as Ortega from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet since there was a Pokémon gathering that day and it surprisingly got a lot of attention and pictures, despite being a supporting character. Unfortunately, my cane/staff got slightly broken because I wasn't careful, but hopefully nothing like a little hot glue wouldn't hurt. On Saturday, I brought back an old favorite and went as Ion from Tales of the Abyss. Even after years of not wearing it,
Big Names at SacAnime. Really, Really Big Names.
First things first. I've sadly come down with COVID and I'm currently in self-isolation for the next couple of days. Luckily, my workplace was kind enough to give me a whole week off, so that I can fully recover from this mortifying state. Until I can finally return to my usual self, I'll have to hold off on drawing and other stuff. Before all this, though, I've also just come back from SacAnime Summer, a convention I go to every year. I was expecting sunshine and warmth during this year's SacAnime, but instead, it was rather cloudy and somewhat drizzling instead. Perhaps that's one of the reasons why I got sick after the con. Speaking of which, I sure hope I didn't receive COVID during my time at the con. If I did, then I'll be sure to be more careful next time. Anywho, here's what went down at SacAnime Summer this year. Let's start with my cosplays. I brought back two favorites: Izuru Kamakura from Danganronpa, which I wore on Friday, and Hero from OMORI, which I wore on Sunday. In
