First Day at Berseria Academy

Autumn's coming and school's about to start for some, so I felt like drawing a picture of our favorite malakhim getting ready for their first day at Berseria Academy. Technically, this is also another apple-related picture, since apples are such a prominent object throughout Berseria. Anywho, aside from the characters and story, one of the things about Berseria that really caught my attention were the DLC costumes; my favorite set was the maid and butler one and I bet everybody can guess whose costume was my favorite. I drew the school uniforms with little references aside from my art book. I didn't feel like wasting time on the actual game to just look at the character viewer. I was going to make Silva's school uniform a different color like maybe the darker color scheme but with red accents instead of brown, but I thought the uniforms should match. Don't they look adorable together!

I've always wondered what it would've been like if Laphicet and Silva had more bonding time with each other and what Silva's true personality was before he had his will sealed. I bet they would've been really great friends! Plus, Zaveid would be quite the father figure to Silva. In addition, wouldn't it be interesting if Silva had an outfit that would go together with Laphicet's in some way? Just a thought. This is probably me wishfully thinking, but I personally believe that out of all the characters in Berseria, Silva's the one who deserves much better. If only he was allowed more time to develop as a character.

The quote was originally going to be "An apple a day keeps the daemons away!", but because Velvet and Rokurou are part daemon, that wouldn't be nice, wouldn't it?
