|Technically, this is the fanart folder.|
I refer to myself as a "Shonen Artist" because my drawings mainly consist of young males, especially those aged about 4-21. I can be referred to as E, Mary, or Animé; either designation is okay. I'm quite shy around new people and it's very hard for me to say hello, but I seem to enjoy interesting conversations and learning about other people. That's how I make friends. ^^
My character list can be seen here.
Project Shonen is a collection of art pieces where I tackle general concepts and turn them into characters. As the title states, the pictures will be solely of young male characters since that's what I draw best. Because they're supposed to serve as templates, people are more than welcome to use the character concepts as inspiration for their own characters. So long as I get credit, of course!
The gallery can be seen here.
Mascots and Mini-scots
Sometimes, I just want to make characters who serve promotional or multipurpose reasons. Mascots and mini-scots are characters based on certain concepts just like ones from Project Shonen, but unlike the latter, they don't really have actual backstories and can play multiple roles. Just like the characters of Project Shonen, the mascots and mini-scots require special permission to be used for promotional works.
Mascots refer to the main characters of the assortment, while mini-scots are the much smaller yet just as important members in the lineup. Some mascots and mini-scots are placed in groups under special names shown in the galleries on the left side of this page.
The gallery can be seen here.
Sorry! No older and/or adult male characters allowed!
I have a new policy for viewers, watchers, and friends of mine on dA. I will no longer take any requests. If you do have requests, it must be of something in my gallery. And those who know me should remember my expectations:
-They must be appropriate (no fanservice, fetishism, or anything of the sort)
-It has to be something that I can relate to. I refuse to draw something I could care less about (e.g. female characters).
-No shippings, pairings, or couples. Please, do people know how irritated I become whenever I see such things?
-Anthropomorphism (e.g. furry fandom) is not acceptable
-Do not tell me to make changes on my character or character interpretations (e.g. change Roger's eyes red, or genderbend the Lolita Project)
-No OOC. (OOC-out of character)
-I must approve it (I'm very hard to please)
-One suggestion at a time, please. Too much at once gives me stress.
Anime Convention Photos
Whenever I go to anime conventions, one thing I love to do is taking pictures of cosplayers. Every so often, I'd come across "rare cosplays", which are cosplays of things that are either considered unknown and/or one-of-a-kind; many of them I take are due to childhood nostalgia. You can look at all of the pictures I took below:
