One of the trainers of the Shonen Academy; Dai does the night shift. Between him and Shö, Dai is somewhat shy, compassionate, and reasonable to an extent that he’s no-nonsense. When the two are not at work or taking breaks, they do shamisen and koto performances; Dai prefers the koto and will sometimes sing while playing. Dai and Shö were once the remaining captives of a woman loosely called Kuga, until Xami and Jei rescued them and took them in as new staff members; since then, the two never left the Ho brothers’ side. Aside from being one of the Shonen Academy’s trainers, he’s also in charge of the Big Brother-Little Brother Program. Dai is one of the few staff members who speak Japanese. Though they share the same surname, Dai is not related to Shö.
