When the Shonen Academy staff wants to promote their cause outside of headquarters, they don casual clothes instead of their uniforms. Zann wears a black peacoat over a purple pinstripe turtleneck, dark grey shorts, lavender socks, black shoes, and a purple beret. He also wears these clothes when he's on outings with his uncle or simply writing film critiques.

The vice-president of the Shonen Academy. Unlike the golden Ren and gentle Channing, Zann’s tough as nails and rules with an iron fist. Once part of a film class, he has a knack for critiquing and, believe us, do we mean critiquing. Zann’s compliments range from very encouraging to very discouraging, so if there’s a special event that involves him, it be better be a doozy or he’ll say things that make you wish you were never born. His strong criticism and firm disposition also earns him his positions as the Shonen Academy’s head representative and theatre director. Zann is the nephew of director, manager, and part-time crime fighter Frederique Masters.
